Tim, Partner of Turner & Son Homes, joined his father in the home building business in 1999, bringing a wealth of experience, knowledge, and attention to detail. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1990, at which time he joined the US Marine Corp as an officer. During those four years, Tim lived in North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Okinawa, and Korea, the only time in which he’s lived outside of this great state. He is a long time member of the National Association of Home Builders and the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association.

Tim chooses to spend his spare time doing whatever his family is doing, whether that’s sailing, hiking, listening to his son on the piano, or cheering on his daughter in her rock climbing competitions. When asked which quote is most meaningful to him, he will tell you that “The greatest results in life are usually attained by simple means and the exercise of ordinary qualities. These may be for the most part summed up in these two: common sense and perseverance.

Ben Turner

Partner
Ben Turner wears many hats at Turner and Son Homes including founder, co-owner, vice-president and secretary. His 60 years experience in the home building trade ensures he has the experience for whatever job he is called upon to do. He first launched Turner & Son Homes, then known as First Start Homes Inc., in 1990.
 
“I come from the old school of doing things the right way – not the cheap way or the fast way. Using quality materials and skilled craftsmen is essential for the kind of homes we build. We’re also very detail oriented and are on job sites daily to be sure our standards are being met. Our customers tell us they can see and feel the difference in our homes.”
 
A native of Oklahoma, Ben is a 1961 distinguished graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association and is a life time member of their board. Ben says that at Turner & Son Homes, they take a lot of pride in customer service. Away from the office, Ben takes pride in his five children and four grandchildren. And in his spare time, he enjoys sailing.

Athena Captain

Partner

In early November 2011, the already-strong sales and marketing department realized an instant surge in energy when Athena joined the company as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She is a goal-driven leader by nature and prefers not to limit herself to coloring within the lines, so the idea that Turner & Son Homes strives for excellence, invests in its staff, and embraces innovative thinking quickly drew her in. Athena’s motto of “No Excuses, No Exceptions” suits her well.

Athena opened Athena’s School of Sales and Marketing in January 2017 where she teaches continual education classes for realtors. Outside of the office, she is a devoted volunteer for Savannah Station, an organization that promotes equine-assisted therapies and safe activities for children with special needs and at-risk youth. Athena chooses to unwind by reading a well-written book.

Jerry Captain

Custom Home & Land Consultant
Jerry Captain serves as the Custom Home & Land Consultant at Turner & Son Homes, where he plays a pivotal role in guiding individuals and families through the initial stages of building their dream homes. With over a decade of experience at Turner & Son Homes and over 14 years in the homebuilding industry, Jerry leverages his expertise in sales and customer service to simplify what can seem like a daunting process. His goal is to ensure clients feel empowered and informed, knowing that creating a custom home is not only achievable but also rewarding.
 

As a combat veteran Marine, Jerry brings discipline, integrity, and a solutions-focused mindset to every project. He is dedicated to helping clients assess the feasibility of building their desired home within their budget while thinking creatively to maximize their investment. Transparency is at the heart of his approach, ensuring clients feel confident and supported throughout the entire process.

Jerry’s commitment to excellence extends beyond his professional life. He finds his greatest pride in his wife and daughters, cherishing time spent with family. In his free time, Jerry enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including golf, hunting, hiking, and lake days on the boat with family and friends. An avid sports enthusiast, he also loves traveling and watching football.

With his wealth of experience and customer-first philosophy, Jerry is passionate about helping clients turn their visions into reality, making him an integral part of the Turner & Son Homes team.

Stephanie Rollins

Operations Manager

With extensive experience in the construction industry, Stephanie Rollins has been with Turner & Son Homes since 2020, playing a key role in optimizing operations from sales to the successful closing of homes. Her deep understanding of operations, leadership skills, and focus on process improvement have enabled her to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction at every stage of the project.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma City University and values the collaborative spirit of the Turner & Son Homes team. She loves working alongside her colleagues to improve all aspects of the construction experience, always striving for excellence while fostering a culture of personal and professional growth. Stephanie is dedicated to the success of every project and takes pride in working for a company that constantly seeks improvement. Her confidence in Turner & Son Homes is rooted in the belief that clients won’t find the same level of care and service anywhere else.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends at her lake house in Eufaula, where she can unwind and enjoy the outdoors. She is also the proud mother of a little boy, who she considers her greatest accomplishment. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and staying active.

Jada Haycraft

VP of Sales & Marketing

Jada Haycraft serves as the VP of Sales & Marketing at Turner & Son Homes, where she is dedicated to ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and understood as they begin the exciting journey of building their dream homes. Appointed to her role in late 2021, Jada has been instrumental in creating a customer-focused approach that helps clients understand the homebuilding process, sets clear expectations, and provides actionable next steps to bring their visions to life.

Integrity is a cornerstone of Jada’s work at Turner & Son Homes. She ensures that every client feels confident knowing their project is in trustworthy hands. Her ambitious personality, which earned her recognition as one of OSU’s Top 10 seniors, continues to drive her success and the success of the clients and team she supports. Beyond her professional achievements, Jada values time with her family. She and her husband love to travel and explore new places with their daughter. 

Sheila Gilbert-Wilson

Selections Coordinator

Sheila Gilbert-Wilson serves as the Selections Coordinator for Turner & Son Homes, guiding clients through one of the most exciting and personal aspects of building their dream home—selecting the finishes and details that make a house uniquely theirs. From exterior elements like brick, stone, and stucco to interior choices like cabinets, paint colors, faucets, flooring, and appliances, Sheila ensures every detail aligns with the client's vision. Her expertise and passion shine in helping customers bring their ideas to life with precision and style.

Sheila holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and an MBA with a specialization in project management, equipping her with a strong foundation in organization and strategic planning. Her background as a state employee, where she successfully oversaw key state projects, has honed her ability to manage complex processes with attention to detail and efficiency.

Known for her meticulousness and unwavering commitment to customer service, Sheila is a firm believer that clear and consistent communication is the cornerstone of a successful building process. She takes pride in fostering strong relationships with clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed every step of the way.

With a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of project coordination, Sheila combines her technical expertise with her creativity to transform abstract ideas into tangible results. Her dedication to excellence and her ability to truly listen to clients make her an invaluable part of the Turner & Son Homes team.

Daniel Hudson

Project Manager

Daniel  is a dedicated construction manager with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. A proud Marine Corps veteran, he brings a unique discipline and leadership experience to his role. Previously, he contributed to a non-profit organization focused on building homes for those in need, showcasing his commitment to community service and social responsibility. In his free time, he enjoys  jiu-jitsu, exercising, and spending quality time with his family.

 

Larry Flores

Project Manager

Larry Flores is a driven Production Builder with over 20 years in the residential construction industry. A dedicated leader and multiple board member for builder associations, recognized for expertise in project scheduling, team coordination, and delivering quality homes on time and within budget. Larry is highly goal-oriented and committed to exceeding customer expectations through clear communication and consistent execution. He is an ambitious, family-oriented professional who brings integrity, focus, and passion to every project.
