Tim Turner is the President of Turner & Son Homes, a company he joined in 1999 alongside his father, Ben Turner, who founded the business on a simple promise: build homes the right way, not the cheapest way.
Tim brings a rare combination of technical precision and hard-won leadership experience to every home he builds. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1990, then served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps for four years — living in North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Okinawa, and Korea before returning to Oklahoma, the only state he's ever truly called home.
That engineering mindset, sharpened by military discipline, shapes how Tim approaches every project: systematic, detail-focused, and relentlessly honest with clients about costs, timelines, and what it actually takes to build a home on your land.
Tim is a long-time member of the National Association of Home Builders and the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association — organizations that keep him sharp on industry standards and local market conditions.
Outside of work, Tim is focused on his family. Whether that's sailing, hiking, listening to his son play piano, or cheering on his daughter in her rock climbing competitions, Tim lives by the belief that the things worth doing are worth doing well — at home and on the job site.
“The greatest results in life are usually attained by simple means and the exercise of ordinary qualities. These may be for the most part summed up in these two: common sense and perseverance.”
