What are you really, really good at? The way Michael Jordan is good at basketball? What skill, if you had it at Michael Jordan level, would put you on top of your profession?

What are you doing today, this week, this month, this quarter, to develop that skill? Reading a book? Listening to audio programs in your car? Going to a seminar?

If you’re not working on that skill, studying it, working to move from your current level to a new, better level, then you can’t expect to grow your success from the level you’re at now.

How To Stay At the Top of Your Game

When MJ was still playing basketball, and winning NBA championships, he was in the gym every day, working on his craft. Working on his outside shots. Working on his ball handling.

He was the greatest player on the court, and yet he worked on building his skills incessantly. Why? Because he wanted to be more successful tomorrow than he was yesterday.

Do you? Or are you happy with your current level of success?

If you’re not satisfied, and you want to become someone you currently are not, then you have to grow your skills through study and practice.

As Jim Rohn said, “to get where you’ve never been, you have to do things you’ve never done.”
